SPEAKER_10May the force be with you.
SPEAKER_02The war between the Republic and the Separatists rages on. With no end in sight, both sides look to desperate measures to end the conflict. After a heated battle with the Dark Jedi Aegis Volnero, Jedi Padawan Malia has been captured by an unknown bounty hunter. On Navarro, Jedi Knight Dalen Galt and his companions must outwait a dust storm before they can resume their hunt. Question of the day.
SPEAKER_03Question of the day. So this is more of just hypothetical, uh, less of a question. I guess it is a question still.
SPEAKER_04If a uh if a real world business were to be in the Star Wars universe, what would their spoof slogan be? So like McDonald's would be like, what is it? Something about smile? I always forget. Starbucks puts you into hyperdrive. Ooh. Is it Star? Yeah, no. That's exactly it. Yep. Nailed it.
SPEAKER_11McDonald's, best synth burger this side of the galaxy.
SPEAKER_12Taco Bell could come out with a new sauce. That's just like the dark side.
SPEAKER_07I was I'm thinking about like Subway, because you know how there's and your taste buds will be on fire. Sorry. Trying to get something for either little Caesars or Burger King. Like eat fresh, but what would it be the Star Wars?
SPEAKER_08Is the Burger King one, so don't have it your way.
SPEAKER_04What if it's uh Subway? It's you will eat fresh. Uh you will eat fresh. I almost said flesh. That would have been flesh. Whole different place.
SPEAKER_02We are not in the season with the cannibals. No, nope. But we should look them up.
SPEAKER_12Yo, Red Beast. All right. Couldn't agree more, Justin. Thank you for your input.
SPEAKER_04I'm just gonna keep trying to come up with one so that you guys try to do one with Arby's right now. We have the beef. Some of that. We have the force. We have the force. I like that.
SPEAKER_12But they just cut the roast beef like off of the lightsaber.
SPEAKER_04That's the commercial ad. Instead of the MGM intro with the lion, it's a Wampa.
SPEAKER_12That's so great.
SPEAKER_02So last time we played, you guys got into a little bit of a scuffle in a cantina on Navarro. Um, you were trying to get information out of a guy. Something out of him. Well, you know, there's just a little bit bloody. So some guns were pointed. And he tried to make an escape by throwing a thermal detonator towards you. You guys took some damage, most of you. Not all of us. Yeah, not all of us.
SPEAKER_04Thank you.
SPEAKER_02T Rock did have the best roles. He's just that cool.
unknownYes.
SPEAKER_04Cool guys don't look at explosions.
SPEAKER_02You just like vampire caped and like vanished. And then immediately after, Dalian decided he we were not gonna kill this guy and then promptly killed him.
SPEAKER_12I told everyone we can't kill him, and then I did exactly that. That's still the funniest thing to me. I lost myself in my own strength.
SPEAKER_02Good job. Uh just a you did great. So we ended with you guys on the streets of Navarro, following Redar back to his safe house as a dust storm rolls in. His safe house is the top level of a maybe a five-story building. As you guys walk in, it is not particularly clean. Like this was a nice apartment at one point, and it has kind of fallen into disrepair. It seems very Spartan in its nature. It doesn't have anything it doesn't need. Um, there is some furniture. There's no really sources of entertainment. It's kind of a like a studio apartment, but larger. Okay. So he is going to more like a like a warehouse space then? Yeah, kinda. Not so not that much tall, but definitely wide and long. So he's gonna head over to his, you know, kind of food area and he's gonna offer all of you guys a drink. What's what do you guys want?
SPEAKER_04I was gonna say that's rough if it's not a kitchen, it's called a food area.
SPEAKER_11Um, I wouldn't say no to Aquarelli Eliza.
unknownAlright.
SPEAKER_04Well, shit. I can't pass one up myself.
SPEAKER_12Alright. Not my typical drink, but suppose I could make an exception.
SPEAKER_02I like that kind of talk. He's gonna bring out beers for the three of you, and he's gonna bring out a shot of Corellian whiskey for you and him. We need more beers in the Yeah, we do.
SPEAKER_12Get on it, Star Wars. My next character is gonna be a brewer. That'll be your whole thing. No, just like the way Luke was a moisture farmer. I was a brewer.
SPEAKER_07There is a wine that my character likes, but I keep forgetting the name of it.
SPEAKER_02As you guys kind of sit down to sip on your beverages, you do look out to the viewport and you will see the dust starting to come through. And it's moving pretty slowly right now, but it is starting to obscure your view. You can still see the street, but it's a little difficult.
SPEAKER_12I want to go stand over by the window. And I know I can't see anything, but I'm just hoping that having being in a position of a vantage point make me might make me at least feel like I'm on the lookout or feel like I'm doing something. I feel very helpless right now.
SPEAKER_04Uh, we all sitting around together. Yeah, pretty much. All right, uh, at this point I take off my hat and set it on my knee and I and I kick back and unwind, stretch out.
SPEAKER_11So, quick question I didn't ask last episode that I'm should have asked, but um where do are is our ship docked at the same place as the white onyx?
SPEAKER_02It's on a different starport, but what is the name of the starport? So you guys are parked at the Hoke Starport? Okay, and the White Onyx is at the Mel Nall Starport. Mel Nall Starport. M-E-L-D-N-A-L, two words.
SPEAKER_11So, Redar, was it? Yes. We've come across some knowledge about the Hound and her ship's whereabouts. Would you happen to know where the Mel Nall uh spaceport is?
SPEAKER_09Yes, that's uh it's a little on the outskirts, but it's at the northern end of the city. It's usually used more for commercial cargo.
SPEAKER_11How guarded is it? Not very. Understood. Would you be willing to help us find more information, or will that come at a price?
SPEAKER_09It depends on what you need.
SPEAKER_11Not just support, but it if it comes at a price, we are a little um thin on money. This is all you can offer, that is fine by me.
SPEAKER_09I mean, I can't make any promises. I I don't think I'm quite interested in that. That's fair. But yes.
SPEAKER_08Well. I got the information. What do?
SPEAKER_04So, uh, you seem a little uh messed up over what happened, partner.
SPEAKER_12I we've had a very difficult journey so far. A lot of fights that did not go our way. I guess I just lost track of my own strength. I'm not sure he deserved that. In fact, I know he didn't. He was probably just as afraid of the hound as many others.
SPEAKER_04Now, friend, I know it's real easy to beat yourself up when you fall short of your goal. But if it's worth anything, is everything's a gamble in life. You took a gamble and you lost. It's worth not worth beating yourself up over.
SPEAKER_12But then how do you know if you're learning? If you're not getting better, if you're not suffering from your mistakes, then how are you not doomed to repeat them?
SPEAKER_04Uh, me doing the heart to heart, I want to take off my hat, and I just want to hold it to my chest while I'm talking to you. Well, let me put it to you like this: my first game of Sabak, I wasn't the best player at the table. I had to lose. I had to mess up, I had to find out how to get my poker fist just right. Does that make any sense? You do gotta fall, but it's a matter of being able to learn from it and move past it. I know it's a little fresh right now, but just something to keep in mind.
SPEAKER_12Actually makes a lot of sense. I just hate that. After all that, we're here trapped behind this storm. I'm afraid I don't know. Do you do you believe that there's any chance that they could have left in this?
SPEAKER_04In this kind of weather, I mean I wouldn't dare myself. Depends on how desperate they are to leave. Does the hound know that you're on to her? That you're getting close or anything? At least for me, she thinks I'm uh at least trying to recover from my arm still. She knows she has something that I want.
SPEAKER_12I pad one. But I'm afraid when she finds what happened to that man back at the cantina, she may know that we're on to her and flee. That's fair. Credo! Yeah. You're more experienced pilot than many of us. Do you think even you could brave taking off in this storm? I think it's a risk.
SPEAKER_07But I think it's worth taking. You think the hound would do the same? Definitely. I think if we have the advantage now of knowing possibly where they're at, then we should take it. This is the only way to get ahead. Ridar? How long have you been on World?
SPEAKER_09Well, I've been in this safe house for about a year now.
SPEAKER_12And these storms, are they typically a certain length? 'Tis the season, as they say.
SPEAKER_02Do they wane at any point or I mean if you've ever been in any sort of thunderstorm on any other planet, it's sometimes it's an hour, sometimes it's five.
SPEAKER_09Sometimes they'll last all night.
SPEAKER_00Stay with us. We'll be right back.

SPEAKER_12So perhaps we wait until it gets lighter. Move at first chance.
SPEAKER_09How dangerous would it be to travel through this? I would be more concerned about getting to the starport than taking off in it. So what you're saying is they could be taking off right now. They could be taking off, they could have already left. It's getting to the starport, walking through the streets that's gonna slow you down and hurt you.
SPEAKER_11Do you have any way of transporting us? I do not. We're already behind them then.
SPEAKER_04Look, we're all itching to get that bounty back for y'all.
SPEAKER_12It's not a bounty. My Padawan is entrusted to my care. Perhaps you've noticed the weapon my friend Kanari wields. I imagine a man as traveled as you would recognize what we are.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, and I know it's you two are you some type of uh Jedi, right? You're not the other one. No. Sorry, my my travels keep me well clear of your kind.
SPEAKER_11That's not entirely bad. Probably for the better.
SPEAKER_12Spend most of our times dealing with criminals and separatists.
SPEAKER_11I believe most of the people in our order would not be as friendly with you as we are.
SPEAKER_04Oh, probably not. Most folks aren't. I work in uh smuggling. Uh, so most folks don't take kindly to me, moving their goods with or without their knowledge. Well, we're not here for that.
SPEAKER_12This is more than a bounty. A bounty was placed on her, and that I wasn't lying, but this is my student. Closest thing I have to a sibling, really, aside from Kanari here. And I owe her my life.
SPEAKER_04I will get her back. Oh, I know about family. I can honor quests like that, and I'm more than happy to help you get your uh Padawan back to you. Um, without getting into my business, I know what it's like to lose family.
SPEAKER_09I'm sorry.
SPEAKER_04Um I'm sorry. Uh I will say this though. Uh, all this aside, as long as I get to put one right between the hound's eyes, I'd say this is all well worth my time.
SPEAKER_11I have no qualms with that. Yeah.
SPEAKER_08Um, how far away is the spaceport where we landed? That spaceport is maybe a mile walk.
SPEAKER_11It's not bad. So I look to everyone and like I after the passing of our friend, I've been trying to slow down a little bit, but I I see a possible opportunity in this I I if we can get to our s ship, which is in significant less distance away, we can get into space or into the atmosphere and get there with in less time than the storm might take.
SPEAKER_04I don't know if going through this storm's worth the gamble, partner. We might just be s s sanded in for the moment.
SPEAKER_12If they're already at their ship, then there's no telling. They'll be in hyperspace before we can get to them.
SPEAKER_04If they're already at their ship, I I mean us trying to fight through a storm surely will get us that much closer behind them, but we're already behind. Even if there was no sandstorm, they're already at their ship. Oh, K-Rai gets a big toothy smile and goes, Look, unless we're trying to walk through a sandstorm, potentially lose our lives, or worse, I think we might as well sit around and get to know each other a little bit better.
SPEAKER_12There is only one other thing that I can try. I'm gonna place my hand on the glass of the window and close my eyes and try to reach out to Could he do it to the hound? I'm debating. That's what I'm trying to figure out. You're gonna have to beat their will defense, right? I'm gonna try the hound. So I'm gonna try to use far seeing on the hound.
SPEAKER_02How well do you have to know the hound?
SPEAKER_12You gain a vague momentary impression of events happening around a particular being in some distant place. One creature you know or have met before. Okay. So I if that counts as met, we cross paths. I think. If not, it's totally fine. I'll just do Malia. No, go ahead and do it. Oh. Twenty four. So a twenty-four against their will. Okay. Um, so I have no information, including whether the target is alive or dead. How often can you use firsting? So it is not a telekinetic power, so once from my suite, which I believe is a long rest. This enemy is more formidable. The mind is possibly has defenses against this sort of thing. I'm effectively blind as it is. Well, I guess we're going to be spending some time here. I'm gonna head back to what I imagine is some sort of seating arrangement area around the bar, whether we're sitting at the bar rail or if there's like a lounge area.
SPEAKER_02There's a bit of a lounge area and there is a bar rail in the food area.
SPEAKER_12I'm gonna sit down into one of the lounge chairs and just kind of collapse, like thrown back and just eyes gazing off at the wall and just sit there for a minute.
SPEAKER_04QRock also joins at sitting down, puts his hat on his knee, kicks back, and unwinds. And as he drinks his beer, he's exchanging it between the cigarette and his mouth and then holding it with his beer to take a drink and then putting it back in with his one arm.
SPEAKER_02All right, I have two things. Okay. You can spend a force point to return a force power to your suite. Oh and the second thing. Were you ever successful in opening up the Holocron at the beginning of the campaign that you had?
SPEAKER_12Oh, yes, I think we opened it first. Oh, okay. So laying back and broken will looking in the chair, we are sitting around.
SPEAKER_03Well, uh, was I there when he was called Namet?
SPEAKER_04Yes, I was. Yeah. So as we sit down, I'm just gonna look over and be like, now as I'm getting to know each other, I'm a little rough with names. Namet, what's your story?
SPEAKER_11Yes, yes, Namet. What is your story?
SPEAKER_07Well, usually people call me Credo. That's my bounty hunter name. But some people call me Namet. So Credo is the name you chose?
SPEAKER_12Yeah. Why? Not that it is not a fair name, but why run? Are you in hiding?
SPEAKER_07Not particularly. I just like to have a different name. It uh protects me, my family, and any other person that I know. I guess I can't judge you for that.
SPEAKER_12Assuming it's true. Well, how don't worry, we have no access to Republic Records. Wouldn't be able to look you up if we could.
SPEAKER_11How did you hold so much sway in that cantina?
SPEAKER_07Well, I've been around. I know people. Doing the bounty hunter business just takes you places. And you've learnt a lot and you meet a lot.
SPEAKER_11That's the first time we've ever heard someone give you that much reverence, and they know your other name. We've been traveling for how long? Why can't you be honest with us?
SPEAKER_07In my point of view, you I have been honest. That's the name I go by is Credo. I just never mind. If you want any more information, ask me now.
SPEAKER_12I understand running from your past. To be honest, Kanari, can we even say for sure that our names are the ones we were born to?
SPEAKER_11I can say I was. That I'm fair that you weren't.
SPEAKER_12I guess I shy from talking about my family much because I know so little. I never really asked you about yours.
SPEAKER_11To be honest, I don't remember too much of them. I was five or six when I got taken. I they were kind, I know that much.
SPEAKER_04Look, I can understand being weird about family too. I wasn't gonna get into it, but I might but if we're all opening up here, I guess I might as well share. And he flashes a big toothy smile to everybody. Uh, I had a younger brother. Uh he used to help me smuggle, but uh uh we both like to gamble and we both like to take risks. And uh we got separated during one of our uh uh missions aboard another ship, trying to steal some cargo, and uh by the time I found him, his brains were plastered all over the wall behind me.
SPEAKER_11Ugh. That is quite the horrible thing to run into.
SPEAKER_04It's definitely not how I wanted to find my little brother. But we all got secrets to hide, we all got stuff that we don't like talking about. I'm sure we can give Namit a little bit of credit here.
SPEAKER_02Redar's gonna bring Nahmet another shot. It is fair, you've been quite helpful so far.
SPEAKER_12And we did almost get our hands on Malia.
SPEAKER_07Almost. And we will get her. I promise you that. On that note, we don't know much.
SPEAKER_12But what the shipping manifests said there were gems, weapons, possibly slaves if I recall. Does that ring a bell with any of you three? Where a ship like that would be bound. Uh, probably towards the outer rim, I would bet.
SPEAKER_09That would be probably the safest place. The Republic and the Separatists don't really use slaves, but in the outer rim where their reach isn't quite there, slavery is still quite common.
SPEAKER_02Places like Tatooine.
SPEAKER_12Do any galactic lore um specifically on gemstones and their place in the galaxy? Like, is that a currency? Is that like I guess I'm I'm probably calling back like is this like a kyber thing? Make a galactic lore.
SPEAKER_02Uh 13. So they're not necessarily used as currency, but they are objects of value. Okay.
SPEAKER_04Something else to be wary of is as a smuggler myself, uh, seeing uh unlisted slaves or un they didn't have a quantity or any names or anything, did it? On the manifest? No. No? See, from my experience in smuggling, that's a very scary thing right there. We don't know how many. We don't know anything about them, really. This could very much be your Padawan as much as it could be anything.
SPEAKER_12If there are more, it may be camouflage. You have ten of them, you don't assume that one is more valuable than another.
SPEAKER_04And you know what's more scary than a bunch of uh bunch of hostages to hide the real hostage? A plant being amongst the hostages. I think whenever we find who and however many we find, we keep a weary eye out. They might be captured, but I say trust no one but the one we're there to get. Everyone else we leave for the birds. Do you have a cunning mind?
SPEAKER_12I hope it doesn't come to that. We've lost too many and seen too much death already.
SPEAKER_04I think as long as we keep all our limbs, and flash is another smile. Long as we keep all our limbs and we get your Padawan, I'd say we did quite right. So we'll wait for the storm to die out, head to our ship, to theirs.
SPEAKER_12I don't think we have any chance of making it to them before they leave. Probably not. We make it to ours and keep searching? Head to the outer rim. It's our only lead.
SPEAKER_11Just keep putting the pressure on them. If they end up not being there by the time we leave, there's always the chance that bystanders caught glimpses of something.
SPEAKER_04There's gotta be logged somewhere. Someone's gotta know where they're going. That's a good point. Hound's not much of a talker, but that husband of hers now, he liked to spin a tail.
SPEAKER_11I think we could all also do with a bit of a arrest to patch up our wounds. I can help anyone with that if need be. Yeah, I think Dipshit's over there is like dead. We're at nine health. Yeah.
SPEAKER_12Do you put other people in a trance better, or is it just yourself?
SPEAKER_11Um, that is a good question. So no yours is improved. Because otherwise, I'm not in bad shape. Each hour you remain in the force trance, you can regain a number of hip points equal to two times your level.
SPEAKER_12So I can put him in a force trance, watch the storm, and then we can trade off when you're back up. Yeah. So I am one times my level, so I would only need uh two and a half hours.
SPEAKER_11Two hours, and then I would get 79 healing. What? 79 health, I mean. Two times my level.
SPEAKER_12So 20.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_1240. Holy shit. So we could do two hours, we'll both be almost full. Yeah.
SPEAKER_11And then Justin, you would get 10 per hour. So four hours.
SPEAKER_07Plus 40 HP.
SPEAKER_12Yeah. That is what we do.
SPEAKER_04So that leaves uh you and Redar to do whatever. Is there any part of that where you were gonna hang out? Because I thought you said you were gonna watch the storm at one point. Yeah, so I would only be in a nap for like two and a half, two hours of that.
SPEAKER_03Um, so do a little bit of roleplay of all of that.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, we could take turns and alternate. That's some beautiful armor you got there. How's someone come across something like that?
SPEAKER_09Uh costs a lot of money, and uh, you know, sometimes you just get lucky.
SPEAKER_04Q Rog gets another big toothy grin and goes, Oh, I know about getting lucky, and boy, is that a good feeling. What you do for a line of work if you're making credit like that?
SPEAKER_09I've been known to take bounties from time to time, but mostly I'm just a soldier for hire while I take care of my own business.
SPEAKER_04Oh, I see. Alright. And uh, what brings you to hanging out here for the past year?
SPEAKER_02You're gonna see him look out towards the dust storm, and he's gonna play with a ring on his finger. In this line of work, Navarro's a good place as any. It's low key, out of the way. Still plenty of bounty work coming in through the chapter guild, though.
SPEAKER_04Hmm. Yeah, I bet I can see that. You said uh Bounty Hunter's Guild nearby?
SPEAKER_09Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Hmm.
SPEAKER_04Might have to check that out. Our our pal Credo here. He does uh bounty hunting, he might want to check in. So I'm a man, good bountywork. I'm surprised you're getting that good a bountywork out here.
SPEAKER_09How'd you end up here? I can't imagine a trendos like yourself was born on the morrow. Uh no, no, I was not. Hatched. Hatched. Hatched. Yeah. Sorry, my apologies.
SPEAKER_04Actually, what brings me here is uh I was bringing in uh an exotic pet for someone. Uh it was uh put to sleep, uh, had it in a cage. Uh pretty easy journey. Um since being here, I'm just sort of pissing about. Uh, and that's when I got into that nasty game of sabak and lost my arm. What do you mean put to sleep? No, just unconscious, not at all. Okay. Yeah, but uh haven't really done any exotic pet dealing before. But yeah, since being here, I got in that game of sabak, lost my arm.
SPEAKER_00Stay with us. We'll be right back.

SPEAKER_06The beard struggle, because every beard deserves the glory of a true Viking.
SPEAKER_12Thank you. Yeah, so I get up a little bit. Um, I'd probably be waking up at the same time as you.
SPEAKER_11I might take three hours, actually, just to get me up to like full. Okay, yeah.
SPEAKER_12I mean, I'm four hip points down, so I'm not super worried about spending an hour. If we still have time, the storm's going, I'll grab another hour at the end. So I kind of sit up and straighten my robes. I take off that jacket that like I had borrowed from uh Credo's uh I'm sorry, uh, Gruel's uh wardrobe. And where are you guys? Are you sitting in like the lounging area?
SPEAKER_08Yeah.
SPEAKER_12Okay, so I'm gonna come over and join you guys. Rise and shine. How are you feeling, partner?
SPEAKER_02Still far from rested. Gruul's jacket is now a legendary item that grants a plus one on persuasion.
SPEAKER_12That's you you technically have his jacket. I do. I have like a scrap of his wardrobe, but yeah, that's amazing. Which is probably right where it should be. So, uh I'll hunker down, like sit back down in the chair. To be completely honest, yesterday it took quite a toll on me. I've done things I'm not proud of. I've fought in wars, countless battles. But yesterday I went farther than I needed to. I don't know what you know about the Jedi, but control is everything to us. And what scares me more is we always exert control because it is our belief that the force, or perhaps what you would call luck, Kirak, the Jedi see it as something that binds all living things together. And we are but servants of it. It affects us, we affect it, we exist in harmony, but our enemy, the Sith, dark Jedi like the ones we've been fighting, they use it out of fear, hatred, selfishness. I thought I was above that. And to be honest, even now I didn't use it out of selfishness. It was for Malia. I think what scares me most is not that I return to such raw power without thought, but that I think I might do it again. My soul be damned, I need to save her. Does that make me as bad as them? Am I justifying something in the way that they would? I just don't know anymore.
SPEAKER_04I've got a grim analogy that might help you out here. When a trandocian loses its arm, is it still a Trandocian? I don't see why not. Then how does your action taint you any further? You did your action for the greater good. Who you are hasn't changed. I mean, I don't think you've changed. You seem like the same person I met 15 minutes prior to crushing a man. Uh my point is, is, uh, is one droplet of uh blood in a glass of wine goes untasted.
SPEAKER_02Please don't ever serve me wine.
SPEAKER_12But my actions there at the cantina. I'm afraid it is more a testament to how far I will go. And I really fear that in my heart I might kill anyone that stands between me and her. And I don't know what that'll do to me. I know you don't know her, but she is the best of us. Am I being a martyr? Am I being selfless? And not caring what happens to me? Or is that what all of our enemies think? I don't know if I'm blinded by the dark side or standing defiant to it. I've never felt so lost.
SPEAKER_04Now, this is starting to get a little bit outside of my expertise. But a bit of advice that I think holds true is it sounds like you're afraid of losing control at its core, right? You're afraid that you won't be able to hold on, and the temptations of powers are gonna help you'll you'll selfishly take them to get to your goal. I don't know if it's selfish, I just I won't let go.
SPEAKER_12I'll do whatever it takes to find her. I thought that made me the hero until today. I'm sorry, I know. I barely know any of you. Perhaps it makes it easier to open up.
SPEAKER_04I think I think control can easily be reattained when you reground yourself to what's true and what your goal is. That's my best advice for you, partner. In a simple term, find your happy place and hold to it, and that might help you keep your head clear. For me, it's seeing those triple sevens every time I pull that lever.
SPEAKER_12First of all, I think you have a problem. And a bit of advice nothing happens by chance. It is the will of the force that put us all here. Trust in it. And it will look out for you. As I hope it will look out for Malia as well. I'm gonna go check on Credo. Excuse me. So I'm just really escaping the conversation a second. I'm gonna go over. You're probably waking up close to now and seeing where it has been three hours. You've gained 30 hit points. I was gonna just check on you and make sure you're recovering. Yeah. And then I guess go back to the window and see if the storm is holding.
SPEAKER_02The storm is beginning to lighten up. It is still pretty bad though.
SPEAKER_12Genari, the storm is starting to thin. We may not be able to leave yet, but we should get ready.
SPEAKER_11And I uh I wake up and I look out the window and I just say, yes, um, I believe we should let Credo rest for a little while more. He looked like he took that explosion pretty bad.
SPEAKER_12Yes, you'd think for all that armor that one day we will joke about the days when he was still wearing nice shiny armor, not covered in soot and scorch marks.
SPEAKER_11How are you feeling, friend?
SPEAKER_12Surprising to say that I had a conversation with Kurok. And he is far more insightful than I would have expected. I think that I made some mistakes. And I think that it has shown me a side of myself that frightens me. But I suppose I'd love to hear what you think. I guess I've grown concerned that there's nothing I wouldn't do to get Malia back. And my actions today I feel they were tainted, selfish, because I'm doing it for Malia. But how can it be selfish if I'm sacrificing a bit of myself for someone else?
SPEAKER_11I think it can be both selfish and selfless. Not everything is black and white, not everything has to align perfectly. I think while the actions we may take sometimes in this adventure and in this on the way to get Malia may be unsavory. As long as we hold true to ourselves and hold true to what we know of the order, there is no way that we will lose ourselves.
SPEAKER_12I hope you are right. I never thought that I would long to sit with Master Yoda and talk through this, but I guess his insight is is missed.
SPEAKER_11We have known each other for how long, Dalen? As long as I can remember. I will not lose you. I have said these words before. I have made the mistakes to almost lose you before. But I mean them.
SPEAKER_12And what if I was lost? And the path to darkness was the only way to save me.
SPEAKER_11There is always another way.
SPEAKER_12Very well. Then we shall find it together.
SPEAKER_11I I think I'm still kind of like sitting up and I like reach out my arm and we do the night's like grass. Nah, I push away and hug you.
SPEAKER_12I push it away and hug you. I'm pushing it away and hugging you. You can dodge the gravel. I like a Jedi hug. I'm emotional right now. I have to be. Alright, well, Redar, I appreciate you giving us safe harbor during the storm. Of course. I'm afraid we don't have much to offer as far as thanks. That is okay.
SPEAKER_04Uh, I'm gonna gesture a cigarette from the pack to him.
SPEAKER_09He's gonna take one.
SPEAKER_04Simple way of saying thank you, at least. Because smoking's cool. Hell yeah, brother. Uh so I think we should make one little stop on our way to the ship. Now I know we're all very pressed to get going, but our good friend here shared that there's a bounty hunter's guild nearby. Hey, Greedo, you don't think they'd have any info on our good friend the hound, would you?
SPEAKER_07Wait, did I wake up yet?
SPEAKER_04Fuck, I'm talking to a sleeping person.
SPEAKER_12Yeah, wait, sorry, one moment. I just put my two fingers on his forehead and close my eyes. And you open, you wake up.
SPEAKER_04Hope you're feeling good. We're thinking about stopping by the local bounty hunters guild. What's your thoughts on that?
unknownOh.
SPEAKER_07My head hurts. That's what. Uh you want to stop by the Bounty Hunters Guild?
SPEAKER_04Yeah, this one not far.
SPEAKER_07What for?
SPEAKER_04Hopefully, more information on our good friend the Hound or uh what is it?
SPEAKER_12Malia, we we could also possibly have you pick up a contract. Credits would go a long way without the gruel.
SPEAKER_07It's a good idea. We could possibly find more information. Are you guys ready?
SPEAKER_04I'm gonna twirl the 777 and go ready as I'll ever be.
SPEAKER_07Is it safe out there?
SPEAKER_12We'll be soon. So stay ready to dis disembark. We can only hope that it clears up a little bit more. I will need a moment before we we leave. And I'm gonna step away. Is there like a any sort of like wall division or place that I can kind of get out of line of sight?
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_12So I am going to kind of go out of line of sight, kneel down, and try to use far seeing again after my nap. Okay. And as I close my eyes, I just quietly mutter to myself, Malia, I know you are out there. Please just let me connect with you. I need to see you one last time. I need to bring you back to the order. And I'm gonna reach out through the force and try to see her immediate surroundings and sense her environment.
SPEAKER_02Holy shit.
SPEAKER_12Yeah, that's almost a critical. Actually, wait a second. Oh no, it still is a natural 20. I just have a bonus on my critical 20. Uh, so that is a total of 34 against her wisdom defense.
SPEAKER_02And so we will cut away. And this vision overcomes you. And you see Malia. And she's in a darkened room. A window behind her. You can see sand flying, dust. Surrounding her are seven people in Mandalorian armor. You also see a human male who's not wearing any sort of armor at all. And you see an armored figure who has not a Mandalorian helmet, but something a little bit similar that seems to have dog ears on top of it.
SPEAKER_04Are they dog ears or dual antennas? They're probably dual antennas. Like Batman antennas. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02And she takes off her helmet. She turns to the Mandalorians. Let's get this finished. I need to head out to Alderon. And the Mandalorian's gonna grab Malia, each arm. Molly's struggling to stay awake. There's blood on the side of her face. And they are gonna put her in a cylinder about seven feet tall. And it flashes white. Smoke fills the room. And when the smoke clears, Molly is frozen in carbonite.
SPEAKER_12Oh my god. I have painful goosebumps right now.
SPEAKER_02And that's where we'll end it.
SPEAKER_12Fucking hell! Look at that shit.
SPEAKER_03Oh my god!
SPEAKER_12Oh get my hair standing up. Dude. Jesus. Holy shit.
